No, almost all insurances do not require a PCP referral.
A manual procedure where the chiropractor uses their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. The goal is to improve spinal motion and physical function. But rememeber if you are not comfortable with manual manipulation there are still other treatments that your condition might benefit from.
Most patients feel immediate relief. You might feel some minor soreness—similar to how you feel after a workout—for 24 hours after your first few visits.
It is not your bones cracking! It’s the release of gas bubbles (oxygen, nitrogen, and CO2) from the joint fluid when the joint space is opened. It’s similar to cracking your knuckles.
Every body is different. Some feel better in 2–3 visits; others with chronic issues may need a plan spanning several weeks.
The Journey Begins
Utica Chiropractic was originally founded in 1966 by Dr. Herbert Sipp. Dr. Sipp owned and operated Utica Chiropractic until 2009, when Dr Sal Pinto took over. In 2015 Dr. Bryan D'Aoust purchased the office. Since that time Dr. D'Aoust has grown the practice to what it is today trying to maintain the roots that were established by Dr. Sipp while introducing newer research backed treatments. While Dr. D'Aoust expertise is treating athletic injuries, he still provides the highest level of care to every patient that enters the practice.
